High-quality USP Pharmaceutical Grade Water is No Accident

in Medical

Most of us do not think a lot about our city’s water treatment systems, but those that are in charge of managing it consider it an important duty. Water treatment systems contain many items, including a pre-treatment system that not only operates efficiently and achieves the right chemical standards, but also one that has a low bacteria level so it can produce USP pharmaceutical grade water. The ultimate water treatment system has all of these qualities and more, and hopefully is a system that requires little maintenance.
The Right Treatment System
Pre-treatment systems exist that have no chemicals or organic media, which means they are the perfect USP purified water purification system. These systems are guaranteed to have zero total count, and is preferred over other systems that make USP water for pharmaceutical purposes. These pre-treatment systems mean combining low-level cycle costs and high reliability that is needed for pharmaceutical purposes. In addition, there is very little maintenance required with the system; in fact, the only requirement is to replace its UV bulbs in the water purification unit twice a year.
These high-quality systems also mean there is less continuous work involved. When the system is initially turned on, it undergoes a heat sanitization cycle at 85° C – or 185° F. This process is started at the beginning of the process – the city water tank – and includes all of the piping and equipment necessary for its proper function. It operates continuously with UV water treatment and reduces bacteria through the ESR – Electrolytic Scale Reducer – which produces chlorine. There is simply no need to sanitize at short intervals, because the system continuously removes harmful bacteria in the system on a regular basis. The hard residue and scale precipitating in the ESR are removed automatically through its cleaning cycle.
UV water treatment systems these days have no chemicals, are highly reliable, low bacteria, and do not require heat-sanitization at various intervals. This means that the system constantly eradicates bacteria so the water stays the way it is supposed to be – fresh-tasting and healthy for those who drink it.
